Benny's Way Home Care was created to empower elders and their families to live better, fuller lives.

Benny's Way fills a much needed gap in home health care. While there are many standard home health care services, Benny's Way is the only one that addresses the complex needs of elders and families coping with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

Our expertise in Alzheimer's disease and dementia makes us better caregivers for all elders, not just those with cognitive impairments.

The inspiration for Benny's Way is Benny Burgoon, the founder's brother. Benny was born with severe cerebral palsy, but never allowed the disease to take-over his spirit or quality of life. He lived his 17 years to their absolute fullest - that was Benny's Way. Our purpose is to empower clients and families to do the same, to live better, fuller lives.

Benny's Way founder, Adam Burgoon, was a principal at private equity firm Apax Partners before deciding to start Benny's Way. Mr. Burgoon has extensive knowledge of investing in and directing consumer-oriented companies. Through the work of his wife, Dr. Karen Siedlecki-Burgoon, Mr. Burgoon identified cognitive impairment issues as being both potentially devastating and sadly underserved. A Ph.D. in cognitive psychology, Dr. Siedlecki-Burgoon is a research fellow at Columbia University researching Alzheimer's Disease. Benny's Way has benefited from both Mr. and Dr. Burgoon's background, combining a research-based framework with a consumer-friendly approach.

Mr. Burgoon is an AFA Dementia Qualified Specialist as well as a Certified Senior Advisor.
