About Us

The inspiration for Benny's Way is Benjamin Burgoon, the founder's brother. Benny was born with severe cerebral palsy, but never allowed the disease to take-over his spirit. He lived his 17 years to their absolute fullest - that was Benny's Way. Our purpose is to spread that same spirit by empowering others to live better, fuller lives.

Benny's Way founders, Adam Burgoon and Karen Siedlecki-Burgoon, have long been interested in philanthropic endeavors. They believe that they can have the greatest impact by sponsoring thoughtful projects led by passionate champions.

Outside of Benny's Way, Mr. Burgoon is an investor who has focused on consumer-oriented companies and Dr. Karen Siedlecki-Burgoon is a research fellow at Columbia University researching various aspects of Alzheimer's Disease.
